Our core competency is the overhaul, repairs & sales of Viking Air Ltd (de Havilland) DHC6 Twin Otter Aircraft components, with 26 years of proven experience.

Texas Air Services, Inc is a Factory Endorsed Component Centre (FECC) for Viking Air Ltd of B.C Canada. The FECC endorsement provides us with access to the most current process development by the manufacturer and hence an improved product quality that we offer our customers.

We hold various proprietary FAA/DER approved component repair procedures which have been developed to contain repair cost and improved turn around time in general.

Texas Air Services, Inc also provides other services in the domain of Aircraft refurbishment, structural repair/modification and fiberglass/composite repairs for the DHC6 Twin Otter Aircraft.

	Main Landing Gear Stay RSC6U1210 Overhaul
Texas Air Services, Inc now holds an approved FAA overhaul specification for the Main Landing Gear Stay Part # C6U1210. The repair introduces threaded end fittings and the engineering design allows the end fittings to be replaced at subsequent overhaul. The overhaul specification also introduces an additional key slot to allow for the universal installation of the Stay to either L/H or R/H Main Landing Gear Assy. Application of the overhaul specification provides a cost effective replacement part for Stay with enlarged cotter pin holes and in some cases the end fittings exhibit surface corrosion after loss of protective finishes.
