Weld Repairs Under the guidance of AAT 's welding engineer, who is a member of several American Welding Society code committees, AAT has succeeded in developing weld repairs to numerous items, previously considered non-repairable. Weld repairs developed and performed by AAT include: the combustion chamber exit duct seal ring, made of waspaloy, in the JT-15D engine; repairs to various titanium components such as tailpipes; and repairs to flow bodies and hydraulic tanks. All welding is performed by certified welders in accordance with MIL-STD-1595A, MIL-STD-2219, and FAA approved data. Plating Repairs AAT has developed and performs plating, honing, and grinding repairs on various items including: flow bodies, turbine wheels, shafts, and landing gear components such as shock tubes and manifolds. Plating repairs are performed, by factory trained personnel, in accordance with MIL-STD-865C. Material Rebuild and Machining Repairs AAT has successfully developed repairs to return items to service with base metal damage and/or corrosion.
